Prototype Food Locker
This is the prototype food locker before assembly. The relays are placed at the side of the locker, with light sensor and temperature sensor. They are connected to Raspberry Pi with T-Cobbler. Inside the locker, there's a button placed at the bottom to detect whether there's food in the locker or not. And we place heater at the right side in the locker to heat the food if it is hot. The heater will only start work when the temperature detected is high and the button is pressed.
Our iOS app is a client side app to order and fetch food. It consists of 5 views: login, restaurant, meal, order and QR code.
After login to the app, User will see a list of restaurant, with the average feedback from the user. When user select a restaurant, for example, MacDonald, he/she will see a list of meals and their prices. Click the meal, for example, Mac Fish, user will see the more specific information of the meal, like Calorie and Nutrition. If user decide it is perfect for you, click the place order and it will generate a QR code. When user fetch the food, place the QR code in front of the camera, and the locker will open automatically.
